Fluorchem Corporation began operations on January 1, 2020, with a primary focus on nylon, disinfectants/cleaners and fluorochemicals.  

 Built on research and process development first beginning in 2018, we began commercial operations in early January 2020 and grew significantly during the COVID-19 pandemic. This was largely due to successes in disinfectants and nylon products which had strong demands during pandemic years.  

With the end of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2023 and the end of our commercial operations of consumer products like nylon, solvents and cosmetics in 2024, we have transitioned primarily to advanced materials manufacturing of speciality chlorine products and propellants. 

Fluorchem Corporation Advanced Materials was created in January 2020 as a separate research division separate from our existing commercial operations to design and manufacture our Propylene class of surface coatings, which includes Propylene 204 and related intermediates.
